Q: I am a musician, but I do not write my own songs or have anyone to write them for me. Can I still submit a song to this listing?
A: Yes, you can. If selected to be on the show, we have a music library filled with original music for you to choose from to perform on the show. See Music Library tab for more info.

Q: Will all of the genres compete against each other?
A: No, the creator strongly believes that each genre has its own original sound and should not compete against other genres especially for one winning spot. Country and Alt Rock both have different sounds. That would be like comparing apples with oranges; you just shouldn't do it. Country singers need to compete against other country singers. Alt Rock singers need to compete against other Alt Rock singers and so on. Doing it this way, we can, now, introduce Hip Hop/Rap into the talent search TV show scene!

Q: If selected for the show, will we have to pay for our own travel arrangements to be on the show?
A: If you are selected to be a contestant on the show, we will supply your sleeping, air, 3 meals, and a place to rehearse.

Q: How is it that all of the contestants on the show are winners?
A: While you are performing on the show, you will be viewed by millions of people. At the bottom of the screen, there will be a scroll bar telling these millions of viewers where to purchase the song you are performing. Of course, by you being seen by so many people, you will get sells from digital downloads! Example: 1 million people hear your song and 100,000 people would like to purchase the song you are performing at .99 each. Your song just made $99,000 from that one episode making you an instant winner! The longer you stay on the show, the more money you can make and the process repeats itself. Also, the last 5 contestants in each genre will go on a worldwide tour. The headliners in each genre will win 100k and the opening acts will win 20k. Plus, each finalist will be making money off of CD sells, merchandise sells, concert ticket sells, and performance royalties just to name a few. As you can see the amount of money you can make on the show can be millions!

Q: Why does it cost $35.00 per song to submit to the pilot/show?
A: With the record labels, it is a numbers game. When you approach a record label, they will ask you the following:

How many youtube views do you have?
How many units have you sold?
How many fans do you have?
How many people do you have following you?

Using these shows, as a contestant, your youtube views will go up, your fan base will go up, your mp3 and/or CD sells will go up and there is a very strong possibility that the record labels will approach you rather than the other way around and all you did was invest 35.00 per song.  Most programs will charge you thousands of dollars to get your youtube views up; being a contestant on the shows, the shows will do it for you and more. Also, if there was not a charge, musicians will send their entire catalog to be considered for the shows. With there being a 35.00 fee, we will only get the musicians best material for consideration for the shows.

Lastly, your mp3 is your audition! You do not have to pay for airfare, hotel, miss work, car rental, gas, or stand in a long line for hours to audition. Everything is done online. This is much more convenient and cheaper!

Q: Who all can the last 5 contestants bring with them on the tour?
A: Each contestant are welcome to bring 6 people with them on the tour that is a part of their musical team.

Q: How will I know if I made the first cut and so on?
A: You will get an email stating what cut you made.  It will also be posted on the website under 1st cut, 2nd cut etc.

Q: Why are we not allowed to submit pictures or a bio with our songs:
A: We would like to focus strictly on the talent PERIOD.  Your talent needs to speak for itself.  As you get further along, we will grab your bio and picture.

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: No; if you have talent we want to hear you.

Q: I am a rapper. Can I submit explicit songs?
A: Yes, but if you are selected for the show, you will have to perform the clean version of your songs on TV. The final 5 that makes it to the worldwide tour can perform the explicit version.

Q: If selected for the show, will I be offered a contract?
A: If selected to be on the shows as a songwriter or musician, only the songs selected for the shows and are in the music library will be offered a publishing deal. Note: Only the songs performed on the show will be performed on tour!

Q: Since we are offered a publishing deal for the songs selected on the show, music library, or the vault, what can we expect?
A: Songs that are selected for the show or the music library will be put in a vault making it available for companies worldwide to be able to have unlimited access for licensing deals including movies, commercials, background music in stores, video games, TV shows ect. forever! This means unlimited royalties to you forever! Sky is the limit!

Q: What happens in the future with new songs that we release after the show/tour?
A: Any new songs that you release that is not affiliated with the show/tour, we will not collect any royalties! Being a contestant on the show will help you get millions of fans. After the show/tour you can release new material to those millions of fans and keep all of the royalties from the fans that we helped you receive! Plus, you will still have the opportunity to collect royalties from the songs that are affiliated with the show/tour from licensing!

Example: WAMS helped you receive 15 million fans. You can release a NEW single after you completed the show/tour to those 15 millions of fans at .99 each. 7 million of your fans would like to purchase that new single. Your new single made $6,930,000...you keep it all (you pay those involved in creating that single)!  This repeats itself for every new single that you put out; plus, you are collecting from any licensing deals from the songs affiliated with the show/tour. It is a win win for the indie artists! HOLD ON TO YOUR FANS THOUGH, BECAUSE THERE WILL BE MORE "STARZ"  FROM WAMS COMING  IN YOUR GENRE!!! Also, if you have songs that are in the music library, as the writer of the songs, you will be collecting royalties each time someone select your songs to perform on the show. Royalties includes: digital downloads, PRO, licensing and if that indie artist makes the tour, tickets and merchandise sells etc.!

Q: Will there be opportunities for licensing only?
A: Yes, as songs are needed, it will be posted on the site for licensing only. Selected songs will be offered a publishing deal and will be placed directly in the Vault for companies worldwide to be able to license. This includes but not limited to songs in the cinema, sports, and holiday genres!
